Updated
On: Apr 10, 2008 (06:00:00)
Champaign Firefighters Local 1260 proudly endorsed Chuck Sullivan for the position of AFFI Central District Leg. Rep. at the April union meeting. Chuck has worked successfully to elect firefighter friendly candidates in numerous council, state house and state senate seats. As the District 2 PEC coordinator, Chuck has learned the importance of the legislative process. In his over 10 years of local E Board involvement, Chuck has shown his commitment to his community, labor and firefighters. His passion for our union and knowledge of the political system will surely be an asset in his work in Springfield.

Local 1260 Endorses Pat Devaney for AFFI President
Updated
On: Apr 02, 2008 (13:01:00)
Local 1260 unanimously endorsed Pat Devaney for AFFI President at our last Union meeting. What Pat has done for us at the Local level is beyond anyone's expectations. The number of good things are too many to list here. We know his passion, persistence, and work ethic first hand. There are very few like him and we want the rest of the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois to know he will lead our State Association with the same qualities that made our Local what it is today.........strong, goal oriented, and most of all...........united.
